The Atlantic City Education Association (ACEA) provides an employee assistance program (EAP) to all of its members. This program serves as a job protection tool for our rank-and-file.
Our employee assistance program is administered by Healthcare Assistance with Member Support (HCAMS), a top notch firm that has been working with our local for years – and has saved countless members’ jobs.
Countless unions throughout the country have EAP services in-place for members in crisis. An EAPs #1 job is to provide support to members. For example, if you’re dealing with stressful working conditions, drug and alcohol dependency issues, opioid addiction, progressive workplace discipline, mental health and/or DUI issues, an EAP can help.
Healthcare Assistance provides a spectrum of services geared toward getting a member “fit for duty”.
