The health and safety of all ACEA members, our students and the staff are paramount to our union. The increasingly rapid spread of COVID-19 (Coronavirus) requires a proactive approach to prevention so that we can continue the important work of representing and advocating for ACEA members, while protecting the welfare of those we encounter.
As we continue through these uncharted waters of remote instruction, we continue to be responsible for the education of the students. Be mindful that all staff must be available Monday through Friday during normal contractual hours. Members please adhere to and follow all directives from Building Administrators, the Coordinator of Public Safety, or the Director of Operations regarding the issues listed below:
If you are sick, follow the regular call out procedures and email your direct supervisor
- Check your email daily
- Post in the Google Classroom or designated link for daily attendance
- Maintain and monitor your Google Classroom for student assignments.
- Communicate with parents and students as needed.
- Be available during regular contractual work hours by phone and email.
